MISSING "THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH"? DRAMAS TO WATCH TO FILL THE VOID

The King: Eternal Monarch took us on a EPIC journey between time and space. There were kings, palaces, time travel, loyal friends and love. It was a story that was whimsical with touches of Alice in Wonderland and King Arthur. It drew upon our imaginations and allowed us to escape reality for 16 episodes. For those of us who loved this drama, there is now a void to fill. WELL THE KTHREE AND I ARE HERE TO HELP WITH THAT!

HERE IS A LIST OF DRAMAS TO (HOPEFULLY) HELP FILL THE VOID OF THE KING ETERNAL MONARCH.

1)THE LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA

If Lee Min Ho caught your eye during this drama, Here is another one of his dramas to check out. Legend of The Blue Sea was his last drama he did before he went off to the military. This is a fantasy drama with mermaids that was actually based off a real old short story. It is a beautiful drama which filmed in other parts of the world. Lee Min Ho plays a con man and Jun Ji Hyun plays a mermaid who travels from the Joseon Dynasty to modern era Seoul. So you got fantasy, a little time travel and just A LOT OF FUN!

2) FAITH

Now if you want to see sword fights and Lee Min Ho in armor and historical costume, let me recommend Faith! One of my favorite kdramas of ALL TIME, this kdrama has time travel, sword fights, revenge, loyal bodyguards and OF COURSE ROMANCE! This was one of my first Lee Min Ho dramas and I just love it. I have probably watched it AT LEAST 3 times. This is a story of a loyal bodyguard who travels to future Seoul to find a doctor, kidnaps a plastic surgeon (the female lead) and brings her back to his time to be used for her skills as a doctor. Along the way, they both learn more about each other and of course fall in love (CUZ WHO DOESN'T IN A KDRAMA HAHA) *Kim Kyung Nam is also in this kdrama 😉 [what?! I'm IN - jw]

3) QUEEN IN HYUN'S MAN

Now as I was watching The King: Eternal Monarch, I couldn't help but think about the kdrama Queen in Hyun's Man for some reason. If you liked the time travel aspect of The King: Eternal Monarch, WATCH THIS KDRAMA! Male lead travels to the future and comes across a look alike of the queen in his time. Time Travel is a huge factor in this drama and just results in one EPIC love story. This is a wonderful kdrama that everyone should check out FOR SURE!

4) MAD DOG

Now Woo Do Hwan really shined in The King: Eternal Monarch AND FOR GOOD REASON! There are many kdramas that I could recommend for people to check out next to watch him in. I picked Mad Dog because it is one of my favorite roles he has done. He had a REALLY FUN TIME in this role and it shows. You wouldn't think a kdrama about insurance crimes would be interesting, but kdramaland managed to do it. This drama has FOUND FAMILY, schemes, revenge and just SOME GREAT ACTING! It is such a fun drama and everyone should watch it!

5) COME AND HUG ME

If Kim Kyung Nam caught your eye in The King Eternal Monarch, might I recommend that you check out the kdrama Come and Hug Me. He plays a supporting role but man his acting in this dark crime kdrama was JUST AMAZING! He really shined in this kdrama and showed off his acting chops. This is an INTENSE crime kdrama with lots of emotions. It is just a beautiful production. I cried a lot and is one of TheKThree's Jen's favorites. [YESSSSSS! Love this one SO MUCH! - jw] You are missing out if you have not watched this kdrama yet.
